About

Lindsey Frances Jones is a multidisciplinary artist working across painting, printmaking, sculpture, collage, and illustration. Based in New York City and New Jersey, her practice is rooted in the belief that art is a powerful gateway to accessing and expressing the visual language of the self.

Her work has been featured in galleries, museums, and juried exhibitions nationwide, with presentations in Cambridge, MA; Princeton, NJ; Brooklyn, NY; and Shreveport, LA. In 2022, she presented her solo exhibition I Was Made in Shapes at Teachers College, Columbia University.

Jones earned her B.A. from NYU’s Gallatin School of Individualized Study and her M.A. in Art and Art Education from Teachers College, Columbia University. She has also studied at the School of Visual Arts, Woodstock School of Art, Robert Blackburn Printmaking Workshop, Manhattan Graphics Center, Penland School of Craft, and other leading studio programs.

She lives in Jersey City with her husband and stepson.
