About
Lindsey Frances Jones is a multidisciplinary artist working across painting, printmaking, sculpture, collage, and illustration. Based in New York City and New Jersey, her practice explores art as a gateway to the visual language of the self.
Her work has been exhibited in galleries and museums nationwide, with presentations in Cambridge, MA; Princeton, NJ; Brooklyn, NY; and Shreveport, LA. In 2022, she presented her solo exhibition I Was Made in Shapes at Teachers College, Columbia University.
As a 2026 Works in Public cohort member at the Art Students League, she will debut a public sculpture in Riverside Park in the Fall of 2026.
Jones earned her B.A. from NYU’s Gallatin School of Individualized Study and her M.A. in Art and Art Education from Teachers College, Columbia University. She has also studied at the School of Visual Arts, Woodstock School of Art, Manhattan Graphics Center, and Penland School of Craft.
She lives in Jersey City with her husband and stepson.
