Artistic Statement
Lindsey Frances Jones works across painting, printmaking, sculpture, collage, and glass, using each as a tool for self-discovery and storytelling. Her practice is rooted in craft-based methods, especially printmaking, which she views as a personal portal for unlocking visual forms. These prints often become blueprints for larger works, evolving into paintings, welded steel sculptures, and other mediums.
Her work explores the tension between structure and openness, weight and lightness, personal memory and collective experience. Collage and repetition serve as ways of layering time and identity, reflecting the fluid nature of inner and outer landscapes.
Across all forms, she merges bold color, shape, and line with rhythm and transparency, capturing both emotional truth and playful collective energy.
