The work is part of my ongoing mixed media watercolor series of my New York City. Each illustrative work for me is capturing my personal sense of place and time in my emotional understanding of the city. I do so through a lively and colorful vision of the abstracted city environment, showing a resilient view of a city always in movement. Through my work, I share how a blend of figuration and abstractions in color, shape, and form can still convey the emotional resonance of a familiar city, one that we share and experience differently in New York City every moment together.
Many of these works are for sale in my Etsy shop as fine art prints. I also work on custom designs and commissions in this style for organizations and people, too.
