I always knew I wanted to be a creative artist and writer when I was a kid.

But it took me a while to get back to that younger creative me, to overcome the self-doubt and self-imposed narratives of what it meant to actually be creative.

An important part of that process was simply getting started. Once I could flow with my visual language, my creativity across media came easier.

What can I work on with you:

In my coaching approach, I build upon this experience of getting started wherever we may be in our creative and artistic journeys to specialize in helping others develop authentic styles and points of view unique to their artistic journeys.

My coaching and consulting areas of specialty include:

• Artistic Planning: I can help you organize, strategize, and figure out how to get from point A to point B.

• Mentorship

• Finding your visual style: Reviewing and structuring lessons to focus on personal visual identity development in your creative practice.

• Workshopping Creative Ideas: I’m skilled at building out visions as well as refining and editing bodies of work, including editing bodies of visual work and writing i an stage of the writing process.

• Creative career coaching: Creative career coaching with artists in incorporating creativity and visual art into a meaningful life practice. Working with adults & emerging artists in explorations of creativity, artistic roadblocks, portfolio reviews, opportunity research, and goal-setting.

• Applications: Working with children, young adults, and emerging artists when applying to arts high schools, specialty programs, colleges, residencies, and artistic opportunities.

More About Me:

I’m an artist, writer, and educator working across visual media as well as fiction and non-fiction writing. I came back to my artistic self after having another trajectory in my college years. My non-traditional background helped me hone in on achieving a creative vision and narrative, alongside an authentic point of view.
